About Grand Slam Sports Complex

Grand Slam Sports Complex, formerly the Timberline Skate Center, has been transformed by owner Rich Gaynor and partners, into Berks County’s newest Sports Training Facility. GSSC boasts the area’s largest indoor Astroturf field which can be used for baseball, softball, football, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse. A separate baseball training area is equipped with a batting tunnel, an automatic pitching machine, and a pitching area to throw up to major league distance.

Besides our state-of-the-art indoor facility and equipment, we offer specialized training by Rich Gaynor (former Philadelphia Phillie & Chicago White Sox farmhand). Rich and his staff of ex and current professional players, along with several of Berks County’s finest high school coaches, provide private and group lessons for all ages of both boys and girls. Camps and clinics are held year round.

We know that for the serious athlete, there is no such thing as an off-season. That’s why were dedicated to providing the best training facility and instruction in Berks County.
